The image of those who “deactivate the Death”
As one of the units specialized in detecting and deactivating unexploded ordnance (UXOs) and cleaning contaminated land and water, the Centre for Bomb and Mine clearance and Environmental Protection of Military Zone 5 have over the past years detected and defused thousands of tons of bombs and UXOs, liberating hundreds of hectares of land for farming and ensuring the safety for local people.
Despite difficulties and braving danger of their own lives, cadres and workers of the centre have successfully fulfilled their assigned tasks by accuracy, carefulness, scrupulousness and great courage, the important factors required in bomb and mine clearance.
